Print Sizes Photographs are available in many sizes to fit standard frames and mats as well as less common sizes. The most common sizes (5x7, 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20) will allow you to use easily find standard mats ($4 to $10) and frames ($10 and up). For custom framing or matting, I recommend selecting the sizes 8x12, 12x18, or 16x24 for most photographs. These will prevent you from having to crop any of the image. Note that although custom framing can get expensive, custom mats are rather affordable ($20 to $40) and can be sized to fit these photo sizes into standard, more affordable frames. For example, 12x18 prints fit very nicely into 16x24 frames using custom mats. Prints on Canvas ShutterThoughts also allows you to order prints on canvas, which has a very unique feel and is becoming a popular selection for many homes and offices.
