The photographs in my portfolio are are some of my most unique pieces, the ones which best exemplify the niche I am trying to carve out in photography. Many of these photographs feature out-of-focus elements, which give them natural quality to them and a feeling of "being there".
A father and son stand on the horizon underneath an incredible sunset at the end of Chain of Craters Road in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island. This photo was given an award by the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau and was on the front cover of the Honolulu Star Bulletin (read story). It was also the Grand Prize winner and People's Choice winner of the Group 70 International photo contest.
